The 2008 Volvo C30 is a car that offers the essential features that we sometimes need in a station wagon, but none of the things that we hate about them. This is a car that is practical for many purposes, and yet sheds much of the cumbersome image we associate with buying cars that are “practical”.
Between the 218 hp the engine delivers with a six speed manual transmission, this car drives far more like a sports car than any station wagon you have sat in before. Also, the car features four bucket seats.
That alone means that from the minute you sit down in the car you are going to shed any preconceptions you had based on its shape. Which, it should me mentioned, is only widely reminiscent of a station wagon at best.
The 2008 Volvo C30 is something unique and original, and should be appreciated as such, so don't even say those words, (station wagon), when you walk into your local dealer to test drive one.
